Work with us

When you work at UPCCC, you will be joining a highly-experienced, knowledgeable, and progressive team of educators. We work hard to promote a positive working environment where all staff are supported to work to their best ability while being valued as an integral part of a team.

Our Management Committee understands the value of attracting, employing and retaining top-quality staff whose personal philosophy and ideas are closely aligned with those of the Centre. UPPPC is a wonderful place to work with more than half our educators having been employed with us for more than 10 years.

Development & benefits

Like our students, we want our educators to continue to learn and grow. That’s why we provide:

  • a range of opportunities for ongoing staff development and training

  • release time for research

  • access to one-on-one mentoring, and

  • study leave for staff who want to upgrade their existing qualifications.

Every year, our Centre closes for a pupil-free day so that our whole team can participate in a tailored professional development experience.

Other benefits include:

  • above award wages

  • additional holiday days during the Christmas shutdown period, and

  • 10 weeks of paid maternity leave in addition to the government-paid maternity leave.
